In order to receive financial aid through Virginia Tech, each student must complete the FAFSA, this is used to determine eligibility for many scholarships and to award a student financial aid in the form of grants, work study, and federal loans.

Official Transcripts:

Transfer applicants must obtain an official copy of their current and previous college transcripts, plus one copy of their final high school transcript.
Essay:

A Personal Statement is required with your application.
Application Fee:

There is a non-refundable application fee of $60.

An interview is not required for admission consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a C or higher.
Credits (Min/Max):

No more than 50 percent of the credits required for graduation from Virginia Tech may be transferred from two-year colleges. You must complete 30 credits in residence at Virginia Tech to earn your bachelor's degree.
