    Students are required to apply every year using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. For summer financial aid, you will also need to complete a Summer Aid Interest Form.

    The average annual cost of attendance for a Texas resident living on campus and enrolled in 15 hours per semester is $25,680. For out-of-state students, the average annual cost of attendance is $38,340.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    If you have more than 44 college credit hours, the minimum GPA required is 2.0. If you have 30-44 college credit hours, the minimum GPA required is 2.25. If you have FEWER than 30 college credit hours, the minimum GPA required is 2.5.
  • Official Transcripts:
    If you have fewer than 15 college credit hours, your high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have fewer than 15 college credit hours, ACT/SAT scores are required.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement may be required of some.
  • Application Fee:
    The application fee for U.S. citizens & permanent residents is $75. In limited cases, the admission application fee may be waived.
  • Other Requirements:
    A statement of good standing from prior institutions is required.
