    To be considered for need-based financial aid, you must first be admitted to Southeast. Upon admission, the financial aid award process can take four to six weeks to complete, provided your FAFSA has been submitted to Southeast. Our staff provides comprehensive and professional service in order to finance your education.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    You are eligible for admission as a transfer student if you are in good academic standing at your last accredited college/university, have a 2.0 cumulative transfer GPA and 24 or more transferable hours. If you have fewer than 24 transferable hours at the time of transfer, you will need to meet the beginning freshman admission guidelines.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request official transcript(s) be sent to Southeast from all colleges or universities you have attended. Students with less than 24 transferable hours submit official high school transcripts.
  • SAT Scores:
    Students with less than 24 transferable hours submit ACT/SAT scores.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $30 application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    Admission to the University does not indicate admission to programs that have additional admission criteria and/or specific prerequisites. For information on admission to programs, refer to our Undergraduate Bulletin.
