We were founded in 1963 as Indiana Vocational Technical College. Back then, we focused primarily on technical and vocational education—but in the more than 50 years since, we’ve gone through enormous changes. Today, we’re Indiana’s only full-fledged community college, offering more than 150 programs and more than 100 transfer programs with in-state and out-of-state schools. We offer hands-on experience with some of the state’s most advanced technologies and training facilities, plus the convenience of more than 1,000 online classes, and the attention that comes with a small average class size of 22. We have more than 40 locations, and teach classes in more than 75 communities.

You might be eligible for a lot more financial aid than you’d expect—including scholarships and grants that don't have to be paid back. In Indiana, most financial aid sources use the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine the amount of money each student is eligible to receive. Students and parents can complete the FAFSA at any time online at fafsa.ed.gov.

Ivy Tech offers the most affordable education in Indiana, less than half the cost of other colleges and universities. www.ivytech.edu/tuition/
