Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A cumulative transfer GPA of 2.0 is required of Hawaii residents, and 2.5 of non-residents to apply.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts must be submitted directly from your college or university to UH Manoa. You are required to submit transcripts from each post-secondary institution you have attended (excluding any University of Hawai?i System institution).
  • Application Fee:
    $70 nonrefundable

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 60 semester hours of credit will be accepted for transfer from a two-year institution. There is no maximum from a four-year. You must complete 30 hours of credit at UH Manoa to earn a bachelor's degree.
