Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer applicants seeking direct admission to the bachelor’s program should possess a major area cumulative grade point average of 2.50.
  • Official Transcripts:
    If you have graduated High School, you must submit a copy of your High School diploma or the equivalent. College transcripts from every institution attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT scores are only required if applying for a scholarship.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Direct-admit Bachelor's students must submit (2) letters of professional references.
  • Essay:
    An admissions essay is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $35 fee to apply.
  • Interview:
    An interview is required for all prospective students to gain acceptance to Monroe College

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A grade of C or better is required for transfer credits.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students who previously attended an accredited degree granting college or university may transfer up to 30 credits toward an Associate Degree or up to 90 credits into the Bachelor’s Degree program based on the applicability to their program of study.
