  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The Office of Financial Aid helps students meet their educational expenses while attending Dyersburg State Community College. Assistance is provided through grants, scholarships, student employment, loans, and other resources.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit an official copy of your GED scores or your high school transcript. Submit official copies of transcripts from each college or university attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    If over 21, ACT scores are not needed. However, if you are 21 years of age or older and have not already completed college-level English, mathematics and a reading intensive course with grades of C or higher, you must take the COMPASS test.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $10 application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    DSCC will accept grades of "D" or higher in transfer courses. Grades in transfer courses are not included in the DSCC grade point average.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no maximum number of credit hours that can be transferred to DSCC; however, at least 25 percent of the courses required in a program of study must be completed through DSCC instruction.
