Wake Technical Community College and N.C. State University are teaming up to make a university education more accessible and affordable.

Beginning this semester, Wake Tech students can apply for a program that provides for a seamless transition into a bachelor's degree program at NCSU.

The Partnership for Access to College offers Wake Tech students guaranteed admission to NCSU after completing an associate's degree at Wake Tech and meeting other NCSU program requirements.

Bryan Ryan, vice president of curriculum education services at Wake Tech, said a lot of students are already interested in NCSU because of its proximity.
