CT.Net Help Line, Call us TOLL FREEDO YOU NEED HELP?
College transfer can be a challenge.  If not planned, It can be complex and expensive.  On the other hand, college transfer can save you thousands of dollars when planning and patience are applied.  CT.Net offers a TOLL FREE help line for students seeking advice.  We are independent of any institution or State.

Since some credits and courses won't count toward eventual degree requirements, college transfer often means you have to take more courses and credits to graduate.  It can mean twelve or more credits on average per student who transfers once because the transition between schools is not always seamless.  Traditional students who attend just one institution and graduate often follow a straighter line and take less course credits.  Transfer introduces the possibility of some course credits not counting.  This problem is most often revealed when the student transfers and learns an institutions won't count all of their prior courses.  The assessment and articulation process usually occurs after enrollment, thus the surprise can unfold one, two or more semesters down the road.  This often requires you to take additional courses to satisfy requirements and means you have to spend more money with the institution.

Whether you are returning to college with some courses under your belt, just thinking about changing schools or just seeking a course or two to accelerate completing your degree during the summer, planning is key.  By putting in a little bit of effort up front, you can save thousands of dollars and, in some cases, a year or more of time.  We at CT.Net call this the "transfer tax," and we are here to help you avoid paying it.

College Transfer is often complicated by lack of access to institutional policies and procedures.  Don't worry, you are not alone. Six in ten students who complete their undergraduate degree are now transfer students.  This is a little known fact in higher education circles.  We can help you overcome the challenges, no matter where you are in the transfer cycle.
