Information for Transfer In Students

  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    Credits earned at a vocational technical college are transferable if they are substantially equivalent to Chadron State College courses.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of “C” (2.0) earned at institutions accredited by recognized agencies to be eligible for admission without qualification.
  • Official Transcripts:
    A final, official high school transcript with your graduation date, final GPA and final class rank is required. If you have taken college courses, request a final, official transcript be sent to the CSC Admissions office.
  • SAT Scores:
    Complete the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that the official results be sent to Chadron State College.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Students who have completed an Associate of Arts degree from a regionally accredited institution will have met all General Studies requirements with the exception of the three (3) hours of upper division general studies requirements in Reason and Val

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Chadron will accept from regionally accredited community colleges a max of 66 hours to be applied toward the baccalaureate degree. A max of 70 hours community colleges will be accepted into the Bachelor of Applied Sciences.
