  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    The Financial Aid Office encourages students to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with Catawba’s Federal ID number 002914 starting October 1st of each year. All students are automatically considered for Merit-Based Scholarships once they are granted admission to the Catawba College. Catawba Need-Based Scholarships may be awarded to incoming students based on their financial need.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    The total estimated cost of attendance is $47,074. This includes tuition, fees, room and board, books and supplies, transportation, and personal allowance.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students must be academically and socially eligible to return to the school they are currently attending or in which they were previously enrolled; and must have attained a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official college transcript from every institution of higher learning you have attended is required. If you have not earned and associate's degree, you are required to provide an official high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    The SAT or ACT test scores of students having graduated high school within the last 12 months may also be taken into consideration.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A completed Transfer Reference Form completed by the Dean of Students from the last college or university attended is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Comparable courses earned with a C- or better will be considered for transfer credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Students who are attending or have attended an accredited community or junior college may transfer up to 60 semester hours. Students who are attending or have attended an accredited four-year institution may transfer up to 90 semester hours.
