Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    To be eligible for transfer admission, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 for all previous college work.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $70 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses with a D or better from a CUNY institution will receive transfer credit, C or better from other institutions.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To earn a degree at City Tech, students must complete a minimum of 34 credits in residence; 17 must be in the major department. The remaining credits needed to complete the degree may be transferred, provided they are approved for credit by NYCCT.
